Who is the Favorite President at Jamestown?

Throughout the history of the United States, there have been many presidents, each with their own unique contributions, but some have had a longer-lasting reputation engrained into the identity of citizens across the country. In honor of Presidents’ Day, we decided to create a survey to honor some of the most highly recognized presidents. Between the options of Abraham Lincoln, John F Kennedy, Theodore Roosevelt, and Thomas Jefferson, each grade level had their own favorite. The survey results are shown below!

The overall favorite president of the students here at Jamestown is President Abraham Lincoln! Results did vary by grade level though. Freshman, sophomores, and seniors all liked Lincoln the best, while juniors had a major tie between Lincoln and Kennedy. Comparatively with other surveys, there was much less competition, and students generally had their minds made up.

Thank you to everyone who helped out by completing the survey! Please stay tuned for next month’s topic.
