Springing into a New Season 

Welcome to the most exciting transition between seasons of the year! With our last snow days crossed off the calendar and flowers finally starting to show off their first blooms, people everywhere adore the movement from winter to spring. However, in order to be prepared, there are some key things you should do. 

First of all, transitioning your wardrobe is a must when entering into this new season. While we all love warm, fuzzy clothes, by the time March rolls around, we are ready to wear short sleeves, shorts, and sandals, but don’t be too hasty! Instead of simply throwing all of your winter wardrobe into storage, consider leaving lighter sweaters, jackets, and coats out for those days when it gets a little too breezy. The beginning of spring can also be a fun time to go shopping to get all of the newest, brightest, and springiest styles to show off. 

Although often viewed as cliché, spring is also the perfect opportunity to clean your home and donate old clothes, household items, and more. Spring gives the perfect opportunity to liven up your house or room! Some fun ideas include clearing out your wardrobe, donating old books, washing bedding and blankets, opening up windows to allow airflow, dusting off surfaces, and organizing various items. Turning on your favorite playlist can help with motivation and making spring cleaning fun. 

Another fun thing to do to prepare for spring is getting all your old outdoor sports equipment out. Spring is the perfect time to be outside for many activities, whether solo or with friends and family. To prepare, make sure to pump up bike tires and balls so that there’s no hassle when you’re ready to have fun! 

Whether you are a fashionista, sports fanatic, or pro-organizer, spring is the perfect opportunity to remind yourself of everything there is to be thankful for in your own community. While allergies are inevitable, many beauties outweigh the faults of spring and can help anyone fall in love with the wonderful world we live in. Make sure to take advantage of the many gifts this season gives!
